dog friendly accommodation in Tasmania
Our farm stay is dog friendly to four legged people and their owners. There is ample space for a small to medium sized dog to run and be off-leash in the garden, under supervision. The farm stay is on a quiet, rural road and is fenced and gated at the front. Dogs should still be supervised. We have chickens, pigs and sheep in paddocks which are visible from the farm stay and ask that dogs not be allowed to bother these. We also ask that dogs don't occupy the bed or other furniture, and bring their own bedding.
Our own dog Alice is happy to play with other dogs who would like some company. If your dog prefers your company, Alice is kept round the back with us. On our blog you will find suggestions of dog friendly places to go exploring nearby - walks, beaches, cafes and vineyards in the Tamar Valley. We look forward to welcoming you and your dog for a stay at Langdale Farm.

"Staying in the the guest wing of Fiona and Oliver’s farmhouse was fantastic. It is spacious, clean and private, but they are on hand if you need anything at all It is in a beautiful part of northern Tasmania and a great place to relax. Restaurants and other amenities are about 25 min drive away. Fiona has compiled a useful folder full of tips about the local places. I’d recommend taking up the offer of a tour round the farm and the breakfast pack, which was good fun to barbecue in the morning- and delicious. We stayed for a night, but I’d recommend staying for 2 or more. There’s plenty to fill the days with."
